The CPC Mississauga is no longer processing the application to sponsor spouse

Hi,
When in June it was changed? I submitted on June 7th, arrived in Mississauga on June 11th, but I'm pretty sure I used the correct checklist at that time and it said to send to Mississauga. Or maybe I was using the checklist from May? That's when I started preparing my application! So what now? I did get a file number on July 5th, sponsor decision made in ecas although haven't received SA yet. Linked my husband's application online and it shows reviewing eligibility, I'm confused now, is there a chance they'll send back my application?

No they won't send your application back because it was sent to Mississauga instead of Sydney. Your application is already being processed. They are forwarding the applications mistakenly sent to Mississauga to Sydney which adds only a small delay in the process.

Hi there! Would anyone know here if they could still potentially redirect applications to the correct address. I mailed my inland application to Nova Scotia instead of Mississauga and fear that I might need to send the entire application again.

They most likely will resend you the package with a letter showing the right address to mail it to.

They usually give couple of weeks as grace period after updating the checklist. You may expect them to redirect your application, or worse it will be returned to you upon which you will have to use the current forms/checklist and resend.
