But I still have a permanent residency application in process...?This was dependent on your OWP. If the OWP was refused or returned, you have lost implied status.

If I resubmit immediately i assume i again have implied status? This was dependent on your OWP. If the OWP was refused or returned, you have lost implied status.
Doesn't matter. Implied status was dependent on the OWP application. But I still have a permanent residency application in process...?
Only if you have valid status in Canada now based on a visitor visa, work permit or similar. If I resubmit immediately i assume i again have implied status?
So i had an employee-specific work permit that expired on 30 April 2019. I applied for Residency and OWP on 18th March. I was hoping to extend my contract at work and subsequently my permit but i wasnt able to. I was advised to apply for a visitor visa to maintain my valid status until the OWP/PR came through. I applied for visitor status on 18 April but I haven't heard back yetOnly if you have valid status in Canada now based on a visitor visa, work permit or similar.
Thank you...i got your other post via email but for some reason its not turning up in my thread. I will apply to restore status at the same time as resubmitting my OWPOnly if you have valid status in Canada now based on a visitor visa, work permit or similar.
Actually - if you submitted an application to change your status to visitor before your work permit expired, then you should be OK.Thank you...i got your other post via email but for some reason its not turning up in my thread. I will apply to restore status at the same time as resubmitting my OWP
Yes, you still have Implied Status based on the visitor extension. I applied for visitor status on 18 April but I haven't heard back yet
So since i applied to stay on as a vistor before the expiry of my work visa and I haven't heard back yet assume i still have implied status

I payed $100 for the processing of this Open Work Permit and an additional $1,125.00 for the Permanent Residency Application.
Having calmed down a bit this does say the entire Temporary Residence application, so does this only refer to the work permit application not the whole Residency application? Even so their website still says $100 for the Open Work Permit fee, so I don't know where I have gone wrong?
Maybe he paid for biometrics as wellI think the fees for permanent residency is $1040.
