I got biometric correspondence later this morning, and I read in some forum that getting the correspondence letter before the medical request, could be a refusal next..... is that true?

But I’m not hoping for that

That is not truth . The CIC as started reviewing your application and all you need now is prayer because is like you will get respond from them quick once they are done with your application review. Let hope for the best for your medical request soon.

Hi, I'm from Nigeria.. I applied for the study permit on the 2nd of may with an upfront medical then did my biometric on 6th of may.. nw I wait their decision... Pls how I know when they have viewed my medical and documents..

Do you applied paper route or online ?


Starting from the day you applied till 9weeks processing time. You should be able to get respond at anytime from them .

Applied online in general on 10th April with upfront medical, have received two acknowledgment letters, but no update on my application. It has passed the normal processing time, which is 3 weeks in India.

Sometimes it delay do to the rate of applicant is much. They will surly get to your turn at any moment from now till next 2weeks latest. Let hope for the best out come after all the delay

Also, I didn't submit upfront medical, is it a good idea to do the medical now (without them asking for it) and just send it or not?

Let them request for it before you sumit

I have applied on 10th, 17th biometrics and received acknowledgement letter on 23rd April and 8th May and still no updates on the application. Expecting updates this week.

Why do we get two acknowledgement letters ?...I applied on 15th April, 18h bio 29th April first acknowledgement and yesterday 2nd acknowledgement...iam still waiting for medical request.

My visa got rejected for my September 2019
I have applied study visa under general category as i had one band less in writing module
My ielts overall is 6.5
L 7 S 6.5 R 6 W 5.5
My 10th 80%
12th 72%
BE civil 72%
My reasons for rejection said specific band travel history course irrelevant
Now i got a letter from college addressed to ircc
That my program and study and ielts is approved based on my prior to academic documents

Im planning to reapply with this letter
What do you guys think??
Is it worth to reapply...since i dont want to retake ielts since i have above average percentage grades when its comes academics
