HI everyone..
My family migrated to Canada in 2012. W lived here for one year and left Canada in 2013 because my mother was critically ill and died in 2017.Due to my mother's illness me and my family lived out of Canada from 2013 to 2017. In June 2017, we came back to Canada just before our PR cards going to expire. Now we are living here in Canada from June 2017 . as our 2 years condition for PR card renewal is going to fulfill in June 2019. Now i want to ask you can we apply PR cards renewal in the month of June after staying in Canada for 735 days ? Please guide me. Is it good to apply after 735 days? How many days it will take to renew our cards?
Thanx in advance..

If you have lived here for 730+ days in the past five years you will meet the Residency Obligation. However, you need to be absolutely sure you have the 730 days. Have you never traveled outside Canada in the past two years?

Do you have to apply right now? Why not wait a month or two to be well over the 730 day requirement?

Renewing a card takes a few weeks, but can take longer if they decide to investigate your case further.

Also, when you landed in 2017, did the CBSA officer tell you anything about your Residency Obligation?

Hi..
Yes ,we have completed our 730 days stay in Canada.. we never go out of Canada since 2017...
No.. CBSA officer didn't ask us anything.
one more thing i want to ask you, when we came in 2017, we applied for PR card renewal but IRCC ask us why you stay out of Canada for long time(4 years) . then we apply for withdraw our application. IRCC allow us for withdrawal and closed our application. Now i want to ask you that as we applied in 2017, did they have our record (2017) with them or not.
Thanx

Yes, they will have a record of your previous application. It doesn't matter though. If you are currently meeting your RO, then prior noncompliance won't affect this application.

Wow you were extremely lucky. You should have had to prove that your mother was sick and gone through the H&C process.

You're going to want to get the card before you leave Canada. If you've met the RO, you're good to go.

Also, you may not want to use all capital letters here - it's considered yelling.

Thought you could only apply 5 months before the card expires.
