Hi everyone,
I hope until now everyone has got their oinp approved. I want to know that if your oinp is still valid and you get raise in pay do you need to inform government?

Thanks
I got OINP nomination today, letter says that you have to notify OINP if there are any changes in the nature of employment position.

Hi all,

I've applied for "OINP - Job Offer: International Student Stream" at 21st of April.
So, for now, my application was in next statuses:
  • Submitted: 21 April 2019;
  • Assessment: 17 May 2019.
The first thing worries me is that previous comments state essentially faster changing between Submitten/Assessment/DIP statuses.
Is it because of "Pause" in intake of Applications?
Is there any information on how "Pause" in my stream affects applicants who've applied just before it?

Thanks a lot for your future answers! :)

Hi guys! I also got nomination yesterday, and just recently, my company just raised my wage. How do I notify OINP about the change in my wage?

TIA!

I just asked my employer to help me with PR process. ( I wasn't sure if they would) and they agreed. So I connected my employer & my lawyer. They worked together (lawyer filled all forms, collected all documents from HR of my company - my boss just signed every document as asked by lawyer and then lawyer submitted it)

If employer did not agree to fill it ; I might have to wait for 2 yrs work experience & then apply through Express entry as I had no other choice.
Does employer need to apply for pre-screening ?

I applied through an accounting firm. The only info that they requested from my employer was their financial statements or a copy of their tax returns.

Hello everyone,

Hope there’s anyone who can enlighten me about my situation. My entry here in Canada was thru Student pathway, I finished my program January 2018 and applied for PGWP. Currently, working in a retirement home as a full time PSW( I used to work in the same company as part time PSW while studying). I was planning to apply under Caring for people with high medical using NOC 3413 but the pathway has just been abolished recently. Now, I have read that OINP will be doing amendments in all its program under it. NOC 3413(nurse aids, psw’s) will be included in HIGH IN DEMAND SKILL STREAM. I would like to apply under the program but I am confuse about the “wage requirement” My question is, since my entry here in Canada was as a Student and I am working under PGWP, will my wage requirement fall under “entry level” or minimum? Coz In the High in Demand skill stream there’s a section in there that states that “ median wage “ is the requirement. My current rate per hour is $2 less than the median wage. Please help, any insights will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
