That is the very popular "Ghost Update".Hi Guy. My current status on CIC website usually shows "Submitted". Today it changed to "Application/Profile updated". I clicked into it, there is nothing new, and the status going back to "Submitted". What does that mean?. There is no email as well.

I wanna say I had more than that. I've lived in a 3rd county (keeping aside Canada and my home country). Plus I have my sister in the States so I take off to the States pretty much every long weekend. I don't think my security took a ridiculously long time seeing as I got PPR in under 5 months. But again I have no clue what takes some people so long.Guys,
i am very curious to know how they do some of the background(security) check so fast for some people.
How many international trip did you guys had on the last 10 years? I had 18.......i am really thinking that this is delaying my security check.....

Don't lose heart though! Majority of my trips were to the States. I think if international travel affects security, what would delay it more potentially is the number of countries you've visited. I'd only been to the US and France (where I lived for a few months) aside from Canada and India my home country. Have you visited a ridiculous number of countries?Damm......
I just saw a guy with the exact same status as mine, and from Sydney, NS...he is complaining about delays on his application https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/cec-september-2018-aor.585634/page-40#post-7829269So no PPR today It's already 5:00 PM in NS, so Today is not the DAYYYYYYYYY
Many ppl got PPR from Sydney in 80-100 days...as it's CIO, they process the application very fast. If there's any ADR/RR, then 250-280 is the average processing time unless they transfer the case to other office.I just saw a guy with the exact same status as mine, and from Sydney, NS...he is complaining about delays on his application https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/cec-september-2018-aor.585634/page-40#post-7829269
He entered the 8th month Today and no news so far...
Do you know someone who got PPR and the application has been reviewed by the Sydney office?
