They've just sent you an email just to say the received your sponsor application? This is the first time I hear this. I thought first email was AOR1?

I am pretty sure that this is the AOR. Once they give you an application number they started processing your application.

Does it also state a UCI and application number? Sounds like it probably is AOR1 or did they really just send an email saying they received it? Try to find your application on ECAS.

Wow. Just had a look at the tracker. Lots of AORI.
Pretty exciting stuff.
So far.. nothing on our end and cannot ring to confirm although know that someone has signed for it..

This is what your AOR1 is, it stands for "acknowledgement of receipt" and it's basically just them letting you know they got it and giving you an application number.

CIC sent him an email telling him they received his application and then he says " I hope the AOR arrives soon." So, he never got AOR yet...

CIC sent him an email telling him they received his application and then he says " I hope the AOR arrives soon." So, he never got AOR yet...

I know, and I was clarifying that the email this person received is the AOR. It's not actually labeled "AOR" it just tells you they received your sponsorship application.
