December 14th applicant.Progress bar not change.No update in my account.it just shows background check in progress for my application.What is a ghost update guys.Is it some kind of update you get in ecas?

Ghost update means when your portal shows application updated but you see no update

I got décision made on Friday May 3 and received PPR on 8th May

I think so.
Mine went back to 14 days left on my progress bar making it exactly 19 months by this May 23.

No it is an update sign on GCkey. If you log into GCkey it will show “application updated” but when you click to see what’s changed, nothing is changed. When you log out and log in again, the status is back to “submitted”. People call it ghost update as no real update was made but only the status shows update. Hope this helps.

Just checked CIC site it’s says 19 month

Well I guess the volume of application has reduced a bit or they are doing their job faster. Hopefully I get my DM/PPR in the next 14 days as estimated.
19 months wait has drained my resolve. I will be the most thankful heart to get out of this mental prison.
