Congrats to those who got approved. I’m still waiting if I’m approved or not. My account only shows I passed the medical exam last friday. No update until now. I’m kinda nervous actually.

You should not leave that early because Canada has made new rule for student visa holder! That you can only move before 3 weeks nd if you move early you should have valid reason!

Guys ,I am waiting for my final decision for my study Permit..My review of eligibility was started on April 15 and i received the correspondence letter on the same day in my cic account and till today I have not received the final decision yet..I am going for PhD along with my wife who has been granted visiting visa by 24 th April. But I HAVE NOT GOT ANY UPDATE after getting my Correspondence letter on 15th April..My application time is already more than they stated at the time I had applied i.e. 9 weeks...I have also filled the web form for for the inquiry but they haven't replied me till now...Please suggest me what shall I do as my start was from 6th May...Can there be the case to accept and give visa to the secondary applicant and reject the Primary applicant study permit ?I am confused and frustrated now as I have not got any update till this date.

Since you have message them through webform and still no quick respond . For now there is no other way than to be patient untill they get back to you and they will surely do no matter how long it take. you just wait and hope for positive

Do not move too early, move atleast 20 days before the start of your classes.

the people's who applied after 30 April will get their files processed in Edmonton and people who applied before 30 april will get their files anywhere in Canada.
