Finally, i received the golden email,to submit passport. 6th May, 5:20pm Canadian time.
VOC : Ottawa
AOR : 14 Nov.

Thank you everyone for the support and encouragement.

But,as i have to travel out of country next week, i can submit passport onlyafter 25the May, hope it doesn't delay visa stamping.

Been a silent reader, thought I'd share my experience with you'll and hopefully give you hope to hang in there

Received the much awaited *Ready for Visa* mail this morning around 5.10AM IST

FSW-O INDIA
Single applicant
AOR - 8th Nov.
VO - Ottawa
1st Ghost - Arnd 27th April
2nd Ghost - A week after (not sure when exactly about both ghosts, happened over the weekend)
COPR - 7th May (1 day left on my timeline, seriously )

I've been on a helluva journey the last 6 months just like the rest of you, rest assured please keep pushing yourselves through this and support each other, you will receive an update for sure.

I guess with some of us the problem is after AOR and MEP back in Dec, there is 0 update with just 3-4 days for 6 month to get over. Would feel a little hopeful if at least its in progress. Just lying there is what hurts

Yup, BG started on 29th and pPPr on 2nd May. got done in 5 working days.

wow. That sounds great. So do u think these guys are doing BG long before and just dont update in profile?

Hey no question is a bad question...
Ghost update shows your application has been updated in the account. So, there might be a change in the status like bgc gets started... Basically this means your application is being looked upon by an officer

Thank you. I remember seeing this word often along with IP1, 2 etc .. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't wrong. So when you get an email and see there is some update in profile its called ghost update?
And in your case, you have mentioned you got ghost update but no change in profile - so just got email?

I didn't get any email. I checked my application and instead of submitted, there was updated written but when I opened the application page, there was no change in the messages, hence a ghost update

Ahhh.. Ok got it. So the home page shows update and things change inside. And in your case it didnt. So sorry. Thank u for clarifying. Hang in there.
