Ready for Visa email

Hi everyone,
I just received "Ready for Visa" email from IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca>.
The strange thing is that they send this email to the wrong email address that is associated with different CIC account. They sent it to an account that I created from TRV application, not to the original account that I created for PR application. Is it possible that it's a fake/spam email?

I'm an applicant under CEC class and I don't think they should send me this email as I already work in Canada and instead, I'm expected an interview to get my PR confirmation as far as I understand

I am not sure why they would send your PPR email to an email ID associated with one of your previous applications...
The email ID is legitimate, so don't worry on that count.
Also, several inland candidates also receive the PPR email and they need to 'land' at the closest CBSA office. Check this link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/application-approved.htm
I suspect they do this when a particular VO has a significant backlog and the wait times become unusually high.
