I hate this waiting game my application was received on Feb 28th and still no AOR. And then i keep seeing the march applicants getting theirs and its really breaking my spirit. Ugh

Bro i just got mine my application was delivered on 26 February they will send yours too maybe this week or next week keep on eye sometimes it takes longer than u expected

May I ask what is the the number you called, and at what time of the day. I tried to call them many times with no luck.

The number I called is 1 800 242 2100. And both times I called around 3pm.
I think they have different phone agents in different provinces so as to cover all time zones in Canada though. Usually there are fewer people calling in the afternoons. Hope that helps!

Called CIC a second time yesterday afternoon. This time the agent asked for the tracking number of my package and then sent a note to the Sydney office. I was told to call them back for an answer in at least four weeks, but surprisingly got my AOR a couple of hours later.

I just have a question here. When you already received AOR, does that mean your application won't be returned anymore? Does it mean that your forms are completely filled and your documents that you've submitted are complete too?

yes.. they charge the fee and it will not be returned. if they found anything missing, they will ask for that document
