I haven't received an update in 11 months. Anything we can do?

Feb 2018 Outland sponsorship, wife is Canadian, I'm a born USA citizen. Sponsership elligibility and Meds completed/ passed April 2018. File transferred to LA early June and nothing since. Ordered notes in January which showed not much of anything was added since transfer. Wife and I sent a few enquires with only "File in line to be reviewed." Most recently, my wife sent another webform stating we were past the 1 year mark and asking for potential timelines but they still haven't replied in 2 months now.

I know there is an LA VO thread already but unfortunately it's not very active. I'm just wondering if there is anything my wife and I can do at this point since the office isn't even replying to emails now...

Contact your MP ASAP.

As kcward said, an your wife to contact her mp right away. She can Google and find the designated mp (member of parliament) for her city and area. They will contact cic on your behalf and get a current update and hopefully get the ball rolling on your application. Good luck. If she is having problems finding an mp, or one that is willing to help her, please message me and I will give you the contact for an active mp.

What are key things to include in email? File number, PA name, Sponsor name, birthdates, VO, and date file was received/ transferd is what I'm thinking so far.

Yes, don't over complicate it, send a quick note with your key info as soon as you can.

Sometimes it’s just easier to call, my Mp takes a lot of time filtering through his emails.

So my wife went in to her local MP office with our GCMS notes today after receiving an email to come in. MP is in Ottowa but representatives there stated ordering GCMS notes causes delays on the application which was strange to hear, had no idea.

Anyways, the representative took the notes, said they'd look over them and contact the office in the next day or so. Hope we can hear something soon

Ordering GCMS notes does not delay the app.
