Please advise, regarding IMM5669.
I followed next steps: Validated, Printed and signed electronically.
My plan was that next to the electronic signature which is First and last name, my parents would write their first and last name by hand and sign.
What do you think will "double" signing make this form not valid?
I think writing their name and signing above it would be okay. That's what I planned to do too.

hello, i am applying my mom only this year in 2019, i don't apply my dad this year. i have one child. what number do i enter in form imm008 question 3, How many family members, including you, are
in this application (see instructions guide)?
You will only type 1. Because this form is for the principal applicant (which in this case is your mom).

According to me all of them need handwritten signatures.
But especially 5669, you type in the name and get a handwritten signature just beside the typed name.

They have to sign it (handwritten signatures) next to the typed name.
It wont make it invalid.

thanks, it is really confuses me as when i refer to the guide it says "Enter the total number of family members included in your application. This includes yourself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany you to Canada or not." what do they mean here?

I posted this earlier and I will resend this again.

Just an advice to all of us applicants. Do not rush to submit until you are 101% completely sure about the forms you have filled out. Also check out the following before printing and submitting your forms:
1. Make sure your forms shows VALIDATED .
2. Don't forget signatures of your parents (principal applicant) for forms IMM1344, IMM0008, IMM5669 AND IMM 5406.
3. Dates

Oppps in this case, if your mom is the only applicant and her husband is still alive. Then type 2.
If they have dependent children, then add them too.

Who qualifies for dependent children?

Children qualify as dependants if they meet both of these requirements:

  • they’re under 22 years old, and
  • they don’t have a spouse or common-law partner.
Children 22 years old or older (also known as an overage dependent children) qualify as dependants if they meet both of these requirements:

  • they have depended on their parents for financial support since before the age of 22, and
  • they are unable to financially support themselves because of a mental or physical condition.
