Hello guys !
I am April 10 AOR applicant .
The day they have sent me my application number I noticed that they forgot to put one letter at the end of my husbands name .
My husband submitted webforms since then and I call them so many times since I wasn’t the representative of my husband I had to submit a a form which I did too .
But they didn’t fix it yet .
Got biometrics and medical request now have no idea what to do any suggestions?

I have a similar issue , noticed two letters mixed up and mine and my husbands last name last night . I submitted a wedform and explained the error, attach passport for proof of proper spelling. I called today and they told me not to worry about it that it will get fixed but it can take weeks to update online. They said that it’s a common mistake and not to stress, it will get fixed before PPR. Also medical was done and passed so it wasn’t a issue . Didn’t get biometric request yet though .

Oh I see but I submitted the national ID card and also passport copy again too ..
but my prblem is like can I still do the medical test becuz I got a request today ..
I even got biometrics fee request but since the name wasn’t fix I didn’t pay it yet ..

We did both and had no issues. We didn’t realize the error until last night but medical was done April 3rd . Also we paid the fee and it was added to our account . The worker told me it’s more based on your application number and spelling errors with names is a common error , don’t stress about it it’s going to take weeks to update online . I would proceed with the requests if I was you , but your choice

Oh okay thank u ..!! I called IRCC the moment I saw the error online . Even yesterday I was talking to one of the agent she told me not to pay for biometrics until it gets fix , but today I received medical req too so wasn’t too sure what to do ..
I even told my husband it all matters about the application and uci no as of now so I told him to go and do his medical test and we will see if the doctor says anything regarding not having one letter at the end of his name

I paid my biometrics fee just now u seems to be right ..! How long they take to send me the instructions on how to get biometrics done ?

You need to send the receipt through webform . It’s random and no set time frame for every part of this process so I can’t say when you will get it . We still haven’t yet and paid biometrics in March

Still waiting for DM and PPR. My file got transferred to CPC-M last March 19 and haven't heard anything from them since then.

MY TIMELINE:
App Received: Jan 18 2019
AOR1: March 6 2019
SA: March 6 2019
MR: March 6 2019
File transferred to CPC M: March 19 2019
Biometrics Request: April 9 2019
Biometrics Completed: April 12 2019

QUESTIONS:
1. When my file got transferred to CPC M, I got a biometrics request. So does it mean that CPC M started my application already even though I can't see any updates on ECAS that they started processing my application there?

2. Is anyone here got DM and PPR already that has been transferred to CPC M? (PA is from the Philippines)

Hi, can u plz tell me what exactly shown on biometrics part in cic account after submission. because in my cic account biometrics number and expiry date is showing but with that it still shows we need ur fingerprints and your action is required so just wondering what is shown on others account.

For anyone struggling to get through to an agent, I called at about 3pm eastern time and had a 30 min wait time to get a person on the other side.

For what its worth, I believe the people answering the calls have no links to the department(s) processing the cases and therefore do not really have any valuable insight into the cases to share with us.

Yes, I believe you are correct. When we call, we call the IRCC Call Centre. Those people are not the agents who are working on our files, however, they are able to answer general questions and explain things we see (on ecas/GCKey, etc.) but don't understand about our applications. Sometimes they are willing to offer more information as well. I called at 11 a.m. EST and the wait was only 20 minutes.

I spoke yesterday to Kristen, a very courteous woman (not like the previous one), who explained that my husband's medical was passed but that doesn't show on ecas because of the problem with the incorrect surname on his daughter's form. She also confirmed that the correct information has been sent on three times to the appropriate officer, so I'm not writing anymore emails/webforms, I'm just gonna wait!

Im from the Philippines as well with almost the same timeline as yours. I was transferred to cpc-m on March 19 and got my DM & PPR on April 24.

Yeah the IRCC , the doctor never noticed the error . I’m sorry you waiting so long . But yeah he passed the medical and it was after that I noticed the spelling was wrong so I just sent a webform . The agent told me we don’t have to redo the medical because there was no issue and it passed.

I have called them zillions time and sent lots of webforms but no use .
My husband booked his medical on May 6 he was being honest and told the dr about the name error the dr was like it’s fine we are gonna attached a passport copy and sent them along with medical forms in order to fix it .

Hi folks, wondering if anyone can confirm if we should be concerned or not. We submitted the required documents for PPR and it was received by CPC-Ottawa a week ago but we haven’t received COPR as of yet. Should we be worried that there’s an issue or am I just being impatient? Appreciate any advice you can provide; my patience is wearing thin and making me think something is wrong.
