For anyone struggling to get through to an agent, I called at about 3pm eastern time and had a 30 min wait time to get a person on the other side.Called in.. got told the file’s in Canada (CPC-M) and that I should keep calm its progressing quite fast given the 12 month process timeline
For what its worth, I believe the people answering the calls have no links to the department(s) processing the cases and therefore do not really have any valuable insight into the cases to share with us.
it usually takes around 15 days. Our passport was sent to IRCC New Delhi on April 22nd and we are still waiting. hopefully next week will get it returned.
