I'm also a may. 29/2018 , applicant ,L.V.O,is Rabat, we haven't heard anything since they requested additional documents back in February, hopefully everyone will hear good news soon,
- May 10th applicant
- HKVO PA Syrian passport
- Medical, elegibility and criminality passed
- Background started Jan 16 (well, that's when it said 'we are processing your background check').
- Pre-arrival Jan 23
- March 8th notes allude to security screening (5 activities redacted under 'activities' section in notes) s.15 (1) in top right corner of notes... Based on forum searching, I think that means ss is complete. Anyone have other experiences?

Oh my God. I see there are some from other V.O in the situation of the long waiting. My V.O is Havana and still no news so far.
I know the waiting is so hard, and they never update anything on ecas,I hope we all hear good news soon,it's so frustrating

Hi,Ahmed 112, we were asked for messages,visits,etc,that was on February 15/2019 , and had a month to send them, which we did right away,we haven't heard anything since then,I check ecas every day,but it just says the same thing since we filed our application back in may,I don't even know what is the next step for us,just patiently waiting to hear something,

Thought Id mention here. My wife received her Passport request last monday (29-April). The timeline is as follows:
- Application Received = May 24th, 2018
- Acknowledgement of Receipt email: 28th June, 2018
- Linked to GCKey Online: June 29th, 2018
- Medical request: 6th July, 2018
- Spouse Eligibility Approval Letter email: 6th July, 2018
- Decision made for Sponsor on ECAS: 6th July, 2018
- Medical Submitted: 11th July, 2018
- Medical Passed on GCKey: 12th July, 2018
- Letter - File Transferred to Local Visa Office in London: Dated 20th July, 2018, but received it in mail 26th July, 2018
- Applicant's ECAS update: started processing application - 1st August, 2018
- Background Check status changed to "Processing" on GCKey - 25th April, 2019.
- Pre-arrival Services email on GCKey - 26th April, 2019.
- Decision Made for Principal Applicant on ECAS - 26th April, 2019.
- Passport Request on GCKey - 29th April, 2019
- Passport Submitted to VFS Global Doha Office - 2nd May, 2019
When did you send in your additional documents and what is your timeline, thank you
May 24 applicant and PA on 22 feb.
No update till now( New Delhi visa office)
