Hi,

I have applied for my PR card renewal, my last line of the time line is “ we sent you a letter” has anyone had experience or idea that is this letter containing the Pr card or sth else?
It is under “decision made” level.

You will need to wait for the letter to be delivered. Do you suspect that you will be having a problem with the application?

No, I don’t think that I might have any issue regarding renewing the PR, I just have doubt about the letter if it’s containing the PR card or asking for pick up.

It could be either. It's more likely to be a pickup if you have spent a lot of time outside Canada but there are also random checks as well. Impossible to say really though.

Let’s have a wuick review of my status, I’m the spouse of a Canadian citizen, I have spent alot of time outside Canada accompanying my Canadian spouse and Canadian son. Do you think it still needs any checks or interview? My friend has the same situation as mine and his PR card was postet to his home address directly.
What do you think?

It's possible that this extended period of time outside Canada might warrant them wanting to check the original documents for the application.
You'll just need to wait and see.

Probably that they have finished processing the application.

PR cards are mailed to your registered mail address. They are not provided at the interview.

How long does it take to be mailed to the mailing address? I need to get my ticket for a business trip.

The current time is published on the IRCC website. It keeps changing. At the moment it's 13 days for the first card.

Does the appointment for PR renewal mean that they might deny your renewal of permanent residency or it’s just for taking the original documents to them and pick up the pr card.
What kind of questions might they ask?
