Yes I'm also seeing some from aug, oct, dec and Jan who got PPR recently.
No idea. No reason given. The pic was good enough to land with.
Must be a conspiracy to keep Canada Post in business.

Still waiting for background process to start. File transferred to local VO on jan 4th, 2019..

Hello every one, here is my timeline:
October 1st- application sent out
October 5th- application received
Jan 8th- began processing application
Jan 10th- AOR
Jan 31st- biometrics requested
Feb 1st- sponsorship eligibility approved (got email but status never changed in GCKEY)
Feb 5th- medical requested
Feb 14th- filed transferred to visa office of Vienna
Feb 20th- began processing for PR
Jan 28th- requested additional documents (updated police certificate)
March 1st- medical results received (passed)
March 10th- submitted police certificates
April 11th- pre-arrival email
April 11th- a decision made on OnLine Service website
April 12th- received PPR EMAIL
April 17th- submitted passport
April 18th- application status on GCKEY- APPROVED
April 26- COPR =)
** PA: resides in Germany but holds a different nationality

Does anyone waiting for file transfer or had same situation as me My application was received 11 jan, Aor 5 march, sa 5 march , medical request 5 march, medical done 6 march , medical passed 13 march. Pa is in india But no updates after that .she has lived in england for 2.5 years and already provided the police clearance from england and india . I called cic twice they said file has notes that police clearance required and its provided . Are you guys have the same situation that you pa is lived any other country than resident country for more than six months . Please share your views on this.
