Oh this reminded what happened with me. I went to Chennai VFS office and all the submission everything went smooth. Oh even the tracking and stuff was smooth. I got the update that the stamped visa is shipped to my address.

I was waiting on the day it showed “shipment is out for delivery”. But nobody showed up and it was already night 9 pm.

Then started my calling vfs and the courier company. Vfs is telling they are talking to the courier. Courier guy is telling my address is missing one word so they can’t deliver it to me. Apparently vfs goofed up my address and they had the audacity to ask if I gave the wrong address?!!

I was like it was just one word?! My name is correct, my remaining address is correct what else do they want? They outright said no and kept the passport envelope with them.

Vfs didn’t do much help as well. Finally after much calling and scolding, they spoke to the courier guy and got it delivered the next day.

That’s when I thought I should have opted for a service where I can go and collect it from the centre rather than waiting at home. The tension surrounding the landing paper and passport is so wrenching. I couldn’t sleep that night.

Yes. We couldn't either. Never thought VFS guys could become such irresponsible.

All here must keep this in mind. If possible go and collect your passport rather than asking them to deliver.

Plus as soon as i got a message that my passport has been processed and dispatched, the status on gc key changed and there u can find the details of ur visa like expiry date ...usually they give 1 year from the date one cleared their medical

Same here gckey updated approved just submitted passport on April 24th

MP office got a response on our file that my assessment for my wife was finalized on March 25th.

But we still haven not received Pre Arrival PPR or even DM.

Just wondering as it's been a month.

Specially when we are dealing with the most busy VO like this, patience is a must. I agree no one can figure how they work? !! Who they pick up 1st or last BUT turn comes up all of a sudden. I was not hoping anything for 12 months, but she got interview email suddenly

I don’t know how it works, but even i got same messages, but the stamp on passport says issued at NEW Delhi only. So u need not worry about it. You are just overthinking about it

Submitted the passport at VFS New Delhi on 24th April 2019 and the status at VFS tracking site is "Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx has been received and is under process at the IRCC Office on 2019/04/25". I think this means that it is with New Delhi VO now.

We are free to land anytine before that right?
Any consequences of landing 5-6 months of copr?

yes, you can land in any part of canada except quebec unless it was initially for quebec. Also, you can land anytime before the expiration of COPR and the VISA stamped on your passport
