No, being pregnant is not proof that you and the other person who contributed to the pregnancy have co-habitated at the same address for at least 12 months in a marriage-like relationship.

You said earlier you already had proof of your non-status common-law partner and you living together?
yes as for the timelines and addresses no problem with that. i was wondering about the genuineness of the relationship, is genuineness of the relationship not considered? if you have all other documents needed, bank statements, leases, bills, same address

No, having child or being pregnant is not used as parameter for determining if relation is genuine or not, just submit every possible proof you can to show you have cohabited for period of 1 year .Bank statement, lease agreement, letters from friends & family, insurance, hospital bills or doctor note showing your address, any online purchases having address.

i mean

you mean we cant use it to prove we are in a genuine common law relationship?
No. A pregnancy, on it's own, proves absolutely nothing about the relationship between the "contributors", let alone that they meet the IRCC’s definition of "common law" partners.

It is not unknown for pregnancy to have been deliberately embarked on in order to attempt to gain immigration status.

how about giving birth to a child out of that common law relationship? proof of genuine relationship? so genuineness of the relationship have no bearing on common law application? i believe common law relationship is treated same like a marriage? just without the marriage certificate?

Giving birth or having a child is not proof.

Many people trying to fraudulently come to Canada get pregnant. It's not proof enough in its own.

thanks. so same address, lease, bills, joint bank accounts are enough to prove geniuneness of our relationship?
Please search this forum for threads that deal with common-law proof. There are many. Some have been discussed here. Your list has some of what can be considered proof. But since you have said you already have enough proof, and are now wondering if pregnancy is enough, you may want to review what others have used.
