CIC website didn't tell on the biometrics questionnaire page this criteria but I was able to confirm it on another page on CIC.

Status has changed to Eligibility in Progress yesterday, btw.

The day after i submitted biometrics i received 2 emails from VFS saying the following:

The envelope for the decision on the results of your visa that has been processed has been received at the Canadian Visa Application Center at BangaloreOC, on the date. We will then send this to the Canadian Visa Application Center BangaloreOC. Please note that this is an automated email. Please DO NOT reply to this email.

and then immediately after that i got this:
has been received at the BangaloreOC VAC on 2019-03-26 08:54:10 AM GMT Standard Time and is on transit to the IRCC Office in BangaloreOC ,for processing.

This was 4 days ago, there is no update since then. Did your mum receive similar notifications?

I also applied same way , and received same sms from vfs ,
But still waiting for reply ...

5th april submited all document with pssport at mumbai office
6 th april received same 2 mails from vfs
After that on 18 th april received mail form cic for biometrics validity.

Till now no update,

My husband just got his passport request for his trv.

His timeline:

March 17, 2019 file submitted online/ same day Aor and biometrics request

March 19, 2019 biometrics done

March 20, 2019 biometrics confirmed on gckey

April 1, 2019 Acknowledgment letter

April 10, 2019 Acknowledgment letter 2 and background checks started

April 25, 2019 Passport request/ visa approved

This is our second time trying after a refusal last year, and also our PR spousal application is still in process.

I have applied trv at delhi embassy
On 13 march offline and biometric on same day.linked my profile with online account on 4th april. But it still show in process, its about 6 weeks past.
What are the chances of approval?

I received Biometrics Validation letter on same date as Passport request date (24 Apr) and that's for only Father in-law. I am still waiting for Biometrics Validation and PPR for Mother in-law.

Yeah, same thing happened with a friend of mine. She wrote to the office where the application was being processed 'if there is anything required', she got a query for an additional document, that she submitted immediately so within 1 week her MILs passport request also came.

Processing center, you must have got mail from VFS where the appication is being processed. Find the office and search it on the website, for eg. Bangalore office details are on
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio...ces/international-visa-offices/bangalore.html
