Thats what I thought initially as well. Hopefully people wil get the invites soon. I think they sent invites to people who submitted up until 12.04 pm n some around 12.05

im almost done filling out my forms, just want someone to confirm for me, im sponsoring 1 parent, divorced with no other dependent, it looks like a birth certificate is the only supporting document needed, can anyone please confirm for me that's correct?
I doubt myself on everything when it comes to this

Parent's copy of passport. I'd include the divorce certificate as well.

They have started sending emails again today. 2 of my friends got it today morning. And both had submitted around 12.05 pm. So hold on everyone who is waiting for invites.

Why can’t we proceed with the applications if it says we were invited?

because u need a barcode that only comes in the email and without that u cnt apply

hi. got invite yesterday.
filled out all forms too.
they need my birth certificate (which I have) and my parents marriage certificate (they dont have one).

Any solution for this marriage certificate problem? Surprisingly, my father says they never had one (married around 1972 in Mumbai, India).

Most of the parents would not have it. Affidavits might be sufficient along with education certificates or passports with parents name mentioned as spouse. Do remember to write explanation letter for anything out of norm. And feel free to call ircc to double check

What about signatures, does CIC need real signatures or a signed, scanned electronic copy will do. Reason I am asking is that my mother is in India. It will take one day to send electronic copy, get signed and scanned and receive it back. The courier back and forth may take 2-3 weeks ?
Anyone in the same boat ?

If birth certificate does not have mother's name, are other govt ID like OCI card (that shows both parents name) acceptable as proof of relationship ?

Hi Guys, Is there any validity period for Biometric which is previously taken during application for super visa. If it is, should I pay again for Biometric?
BTW, I have received invitation email on afternoon April 23.
