Hi , i am in similar position .
My spouse and I on work Visa , and my two kids on Student Visa .
I saw they ask you to do the RCMP criminal check , i am submitting my application on May 10th. i saw they don't need police check if you live in canada however this say different.
I did my RCMP already , i think i should let my husband get his completed and upload it one time.

Just do it, although CIC say they don't need it at the time you submit the application, eventually you might be requested and this will delay the application process a lil bit.

Its a week today since i received the BIL for my wife and still no news of mine.I have raised CSE and tried calling the IRCC call center but 0 luck.

Don't worry, you are inland applicant or outland.? If you are outland, just wait for this week, as some applicants will get request after 15 days as well.

I have been in Canada for 7 years, within these years, I have only left Canada twice to travel to Japan and China, I guess my background check was super simple and straightforward thus the fast processing

I am FSW outland.But you are forgetting the fact that my primary applicant already received the BIL last week on 19th.Only i haven't received !!

yes i remember your case, but in some cases spouse are getting BIL request after 15 days
