Trust me, I know exactly what you mean. I send IRCC emails every now and then, even contacted my MP. They all gave the same response: WAIT! The only comfort I have now is that I've seen a couple of people whose background checks were completed within one-two days. The frustration of waiting is killing.

No, I didn't, which makes it way more frustrating. They just keep saying our "application is in the queue for review." It'll be 10 months in 2 weeks!

Your seems even longer. Have you contacted them ?? there is a singapore timeline which you can follow too...
I called immigration office... they said my wife's file is transferred to Singapore Visa office and they can NOT access to that visa office database. So there was no update for me. only 48 DAYS left to 12 months.....

That is true, some have their BGC within one to two days ... let us keep waiting be in prayer.. we are in the same line am also 10 month , my BGC is 3 month now and everything is quiet .. am very sure that most July application we get a lot of good new next month when our Aplication get to 11 month ..
