Visa Rejection Declaration

Hi,

I am about to apply for my ICT just waiting for my medical exam to do that. However today I got a Visa Rejected letter from the Italian consulate for Insufficient Documents. I had applied for a tourist visa. So I need an advise from the experts is I should declare this under the "Whether ever have been denied a Visa" section in my WP form? I have no problem declaring this rejection but just want to know whether it will have any negative impact for my WP application.

You must declare any visa refusals. There is no negative impact for being honest.

You have to declare it. A single refusal for insufficient documentation is unlikely to have an impact on your work permit.

If you don't declare it, it will be caught in your background check, and you will likely be banned for five years.
