Dear members,
I need some help for the following thing: I believe Pretoria high commission Canada is my port of stamping as my PPR email mentions pretoria and I should send my passport via vfs. However, I will have to request them to change it to India New Delhi High Commission Canada as I recently moved back to India for next 90 days for a small project work. Can someone please guide me in this regard as I really don't want to travel back to SA just to get the stamping done. Phewww..It would be a shame if I have to incur a huge travel cost only to get the passport stamped.

Finally, I got another PPR (ready for visa email) today morning at 5am Indian time after sending them couple of reminder emails. They have changed my visa office to NDVO. Planning to submit my passport via VFS Kolkata tomorrow.

Wishing all the PR applicants a very good luck.

Guys, my file was transferred from Ottawa to Rome LVO in April 16th. Do you guys have an idea how much does it take for PPR?
Thanks

Yes, I was relieved when I got the RPRF request.
I guess a decision will be made soon :)
Well, hope you get PPR soon. I am still awaiting for an update.

Hello guys

Today I got my visa and CPR (confirmation on PR) however my marital status shows as single.
I got married when my application was in progress and I raise CSE and got ADR to submit my husband PR card ( he is already in Canada). When I got ADR, it was specified in the letter that if spouse is already in Canada he will not be added in my profile and I will have to submit his PR card,, which I did.
In gcms notes also it is mentioned that they have received the documents of my husband..
Now question is the marital status specified as single is en error or the CPR we get is based on the information we have have provided them while submitting the form.

My PG was not recognized by WES which is mentioned and hence I got it evaluated from IQAS, I hope this does not create any problems while reviewing my case.
So, grad from WES and only PG from IQAS & I did provide these attachments in my education section.
That was exactly my case! And WES didn't recognize it for a stupid reason. It was a program that you couldn't apply directly to, but you got the certificate if you left early from the masters. It was 3 semesters part-time, but I saw that the course load is equivalent by European guidelines. It's an Irish certificate.

My PG Certificate is recognised by WES but was not mentioned in the summary, hence the confusion. So I sent IQAS, which may have confused my case even further.

Now they have two different ECA reports and both tell the exact same equivalency. Except one doesn't mention the PG Certificate in the summary.
Yes, that's a bit confusing! I sent only the graduate certificate to IQAS following a consultant's advice, but now I think I should have sent it both to make things easier for them. Fingers crossed that they'll take the time to look carefully at our papers and not refuse on stupid grounds!
