as i am adding my spouse so CIC updated my application and advise us to fill the General application form for Canada

Question 1: As a main applicant, i have to fill the top portion, where the question is Under which programmer you are applying? my current status now is worker ( as i have surrender my COPR and entered as worker)

Please help me asap

What are you applying for? If you're sponsoring your spouse, then you are applying for Permanent Residency under the Family Class. But it's not clear from what you said why you're filling in the forms.

well the situation was i got my COPR and after that i got married so because there is a change in a marital status and CIC advise to return my COPR and enter was worker and fill up some form

so i am sponsoring my spouse to became PR

Okay... So do you still have PR? It sounds like you don't, which would mean you aren't eligible to sponsor your spouse.

i got approved and i got married after that, so technically CIC want to add my wife and release the COPR to both of us

This section of the forum is for Canadian citizens/PRs sponsoring their family members. This is not a sponsorship situation. You need to post in the EE or Skilled Worker sections of the forum.

As I said, not a Family Class situation. Post in the EE or Skilled Worker sections.

Since you have surrender your COPR (that's the correct action since your marital status changed before you landed), you are NOT a PR yet.
So whatever way you applied and got your previous COPR, you need to add your wife to that application as spouse. Then IRCC will look at you updated application again. Your wife will need to go through medical and police check...etc.

So what you are going through is NOT family sponsorship. Only PRs and Canadian citizens can sponsor their spouses.
You are not doing that and you should post in the skill worker or EE section of this forum (depending on what route you are applying you and your wife's PR)

so i have done through express entry and and as per your suggestion i am putting it under economic and class as Skilled worker
