It's not yet passed.. It's a trial.. But caq with majority..these days affected applicants fight by sending mails n letters to parlimentarians and also work in legally.

I agree. It will be passed as caq has majority. Emails, writing on forums won't change it. By July end it will be in force. So find other options

I got to know it from other sources, but the official progress info is here:

You can see the voting result and the debating videos. I was shocked when I first saw the news that I posted it here.
Now as other people commented, it should not the final voting. So keep safe for a few months, but things are moving on fast.

Yes it is not the final decision.. But we have no other option too. My country srilanka is in a big issue on these days.. Several bomb attacks n my ppl got dead in large amount..several got injured.. So I'm really stucked in working in this process..
