Hi guys,
I've been following the thread for a few weeks and decided to join in.
Here's my timeline:
AOR: 9 Nov
MEP: 11 Dec
GCSM Notes: late Jan
IP2: 9 Nov, yes, since the very beginning, so I won't be able to see any movement prior to PPR
VO: Ottawa
I have dual citizenship, Brazilian and Polish. Because I live in Europe, I usually use the Polish as the main one, but I could see from GCSM notes that they changed that and are considering the Brazilian as the main one since I was born there. Because of this, I paid for biometrics with the application and they send a note saying it was not necessary and returning the fee. That happened with MEP and it got me really concerned at the time that they didn't want my fingerprints!
In the program assistant notes, I can see that they only verified one of my ECA, I have the bachelors validated through WES and a graduate certification through IQAS (long story). Is it normal for them to only look at the bachelors at this stage? This is something that concerns me a little bit because the certificate was 3 semesters part time. IQAS has found it equivalent, but I still worry.
Approximately two weeks ago we decided to proactively send my husband's military records. He has never served in the military, but Brazil has mandatory conscription, so all men get an exemption certificate. Lately, many Brazilians with the process being analyzed in Ottawa had this document requested.
And that's it! I'm suffering a lot with anxiety because I'm current not working and I don't think it's worth it to look for a job at this point.
