Hi All,

By God's Grace I have got the ITA, however, I am confused about a question where they ask "whether you have been denied a VISA or Permit".

I was in USA and H1 Extension was denied as my employer didnt respond to the RFE while I had to come back to India during some personal emergency. That Resulted in H4 denial for my wife as well. My wife is a prime applicant.

Can someone who has gone through the same situation reply what to answer?

Hi Abhinav, Experienced Members,

I am sailing in the same boat. My wife is the primary candidate for Express Entry and just received ITA. Two months ago, we both had to return to India as my H1B extension was denied. USCIS mentioned a number of reasons but the gist is that they did not find my role as specialty occupation. My queries :
1. Should both me and my wife mention "ever refused visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country? " as YES or only I should mention YES.
2. Do I need to mention the above reason for H1B denial in LOE and attach denial letter ? - How to explain H1B denial in LOE ?
3. Has X been refused refugee status, or an immigrant or permanent resident visa (including a Certificat de sélection du Québec (CSQ) or application to the Provincial nominee Program) or visitor or temporary resident visa, to Canada or any other country - This answer should be no, right ?

Need your urgent help please !!!

Regards
Raj
