Does your country requirements require you to provide it up front? We did not provide them either but we sent a letter of explanation
Yes it did but we missed that. I'm from the UK We've resent off the application now and fingers crossed will go through this time.

Nothing else was flagged as being missing or incorrect.

Thank you for asking.

Hello!

I still have problems linking my application to my account. My husband received the email indicating that the application was received that was on April 17th. I have been trying to link it to my account (Applicant) but the system mentioned that no application found.

I don't know if I'm doing it wrong when the system asks, the applicant personal information it refers to my information or my husband (sponsor who received the email) and

Number of family members, including the primary applicant, that is part of this application (required), how many, I tried with 1 and 2

Thank you in advance

You need to enter PA (Principal applicant) details (not the sponsors’) and usually one can link by entering 2 for the number of applicants; however, I have noticed that someone in this forum has mentioned that he was successful by entering 1 as well. So you will have to try try again in different ways. Good luck

I've been trying to link my application for about 2 months now myself, without success.

I've followed every forum tip, 2 family members for me as just me and my sponsor. I use my (primary applicant) details. It doesn't let you skip entering the town of birth like some tell you. My application reference number isn't recognised for my application type apparently, even though it's the correct one.

The whole thing is really frustrating. I just hope you have more success than me.

Did you submit app yourself or through the representative? Because If you have representative then only he can link the app to his account.

If that’s not the case, then I would call the call center and take their help to link.

Thank you. I tried several times without success. Are we going to be receiving the emails with the information from IRCC in any case? or I will have to link the application in order to have information about the app?

Thank you again

Oh, I am sorry I wouldn’t be able to answer that question for sure since i haven’t reached to that point where I have had my application linked so I am experiencing lack of knowledge to this particular point.
However, I personally think that every time there is an update on your case, you get email notification unless you link your application to your account and from that day you will be able to see updates in your account and you will still be able to get notifications in your email inbox about changes in your CIC account.

But I would requested someone else from this forum to please step in and answer the question for @tbt7788 and our collective knowledge. Thank you

Hey, I've done some looking around and I hope these links help you out.

There are also many threads about linking issues (it seems to be very common!).
From what I've read a good solution right now is to leave your country and city blank, and enter your passport info. It should be 2 if it's just you and no dependents. Many people seem to have success with linking by putting themselves down as single.

Make sure you're careful with capital and small case letters, spaces, etc. As the forms are read by a machine.

If all else fails, I've read others suggesting that you write down what combinations you've already tried down. That way, you can make the most out of the tries that you have for the next day.

If all else fails, you can try to report a technical issue here:

Hi all, when you refer to your applications being received, are you referring too a tracked postal delivery, or were you informed it was received?
