Not surprising really because of the high number of Indians applying for PRIt's more like a little below 50%. Been studying in the US for 4 years now, and I my PR status for Canada is still vague. I think it's a personel issue. Because Indians apply in volumes, verification process is somewhat easier, being an Indian in the US makes it even easier. Also, more officers treat cases from India compared to any other country e.g. 1 officer might be responsible for all cases from sub-saharan Africa, while 5 officer might be assigned to Indian alone.
