Hello,

I got my CoPR through SINP and will be flying to Calgary as there are no direct flights for Saskatoon. I have my brother living in Calgary. I will be traveling with my family and plan to move to Saskatoon after everyone recovers from Jet Lag :).

My Only question is: Since I don't know anyone in Saskatoon, initially can I give my brother's address in Calgary at the immigration and later change it to some address in Saskatchewan or it has to be an SK address from the beginning?

there shouldn't be any questions on Intention to reside as i will be moving to SK in couple of days to start contacting some doctors for my kids.

If someone has an idea or have done this process, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

I softlanded in Saskatoon and gave the address of my friend in Ontario for the PR card. The officer accepted it without any problem.

Great .. makes me comfortable :)

One more question: How about both list of goods (in hand & to follow) ..
  1. do I need to mention Cash in hand and to follow OR carrying my bank statements will help ?
  2. do i need to mention value of clothes etc ?
  3. any other things that I need to take care of in these lists?

1) I don't think we need to mention monetary things in the goods in hand or goods to follow forms. But you need to carry proof of funds - bank statements will be enough. I carried a statement from my bank with a list of all fixed deposits and their amounts and the bank attested fixed deposit receipts.

2) I had mentioned the values of all the things I took when I soft landed, which included clothes, electronics and other things.

3) In the goods to follow, I listed all the things that I intended to bring when I permanently moved to Canada and had itemized them and entered a value for each.
