Hello, I am new to here. I really wanted to know the answer to this question, please help me.

I am an international student who will graduate a 2 year program this April, and my study permit expires at the end of August.
My school will take a few months to process and generate my transcript and graduation confirmation, which I need to apply for the Post-Grad Permit.

My questions is, am I able to work full time from the date that my school ends (end of April) to the date I receive my transcript and graduation confirmation (possibly mid/end of June) before I apply for the Post-Secondary Permit?

I know that I can work full time from the date I apply for the Post-Secondary Permit, but I just wanted to know what happens in between.
Thank you for your help in advance.

1. You can work full time under implied status only if you have applied for a PGWP.
2. Why do you think it will take 'few months' to get transcript. You need transcript (not graduation letter) for PGWP. 90 days limits.

What if someone wants to start work right after the school ends? Can he start his work as a full-time employee or not? Or he has to wait till the time he will get his transcript and then apply for PGWP and after that he can start working under implied status.

Thats what I wanted to know cuz what if there is a waiting time during generating transcript. Am I able to work full time or only part time which is only like 20 hours per week right after I graduate?

So the time between finishing your final exam, and getting the letter that you are eligible to graduate - you can work part-time.
Time between letter that you are graduating and PGWP application submission - you cannot work at all.
Once you have submitted your application and you have a case number - you can work full time.
If you prepare beforehand...this could last only a few minutes. (Have your application ready. Receive the transcripts/letters from school. Scan. Upload and send righ away.)

Good luck, I am currently in the same situation. Just waiting for final grades so I can order official transcript and official letter to graduate.

Read this link below.

Does not say cannot work but Part time only pending graduation completion letter then must stop working unless application for PGWP has been submitted, then can work full time pending a decision. If there is gap between the letter and submitting the PGWP application should not work in that gap.

I have received my official transcripts but not the graduation letter.
Can I still work part-time in the time being ?

I really need your insights on this matter, I have worked full time right after my college ends and before I applied for PGWP, will this be an issue with my PR application? How can I rectify this problem, if anyone has experience, please share.

April 17, 2020 - college ends
April 18, 2020 - started working full time
May 10, 2020 - received college credentials
June 3, 2020 - applied for PGWP
