I had a ghost update yesterday, called CIC now and was informed criminality moved from passed to not started and eligibility is still recommended passed....Any idea from anyone ..does any other officer comment for criminality too?

What is your background check message in EE profile?

Usually when a file moves to another office the values change to "not started". Few days later, officer reviews and it becomes "passed" again.
Don't worry, ghost updates bring good news always.

Moved from so called ip2 to ip1....biometrics applicant though...Visa office still Ottawa.. and eligibility is still recommended passed

Good Monday!

I just called CIC..
the lady was really nice and she gave me the following info:
criminality - processing
eligibility - review required
security - not started yet
VO - Sydney
well, it was different from last time, but it looks more accurate. She also told me that the review required is not necessarily something wrong, but they just need an officer to review it.

I guess that I'll understand better when my gcms notes arrive by the end of this month.
It is so frustrating all this time to evaluate an application =/

Family of 3
MEP/ Biometrics request: January 15th
Submitted biometrics January 31st
No update since then.
Bin at IP2 from day 1

AOR DEC 25, I called last week, nothing special:
Criminality passed
Eligibility met (not but yet passed)
Security not started yet.
I hope IRCC will deliver our ppr soon.

I called last week and they said:
- Criminality: passed
- Eligibility & Security: not yet started! Cannot even be optimistic as the 2 biggest parts haven’t been touched yet
AOR: 20 Dec and still counting everyday!!!
