Hi everyone,
I am trying to help me and my family to apply tourist visa to go to Canada for tourism. All of us are Colombians and are preparing to apply in Colombia. I have read the local visa office instructions, and it says that the visa office accept Spanish documents(Which means I do not have to translate any of my documents). Also, for Colombians, we do not have to provide financial support if we have US visa.
The problem is that when I created personal checklist in the online system, the system asks me to provide financial support. I am also not sure if the online system would accept Spanish documents as my local visa office instructed so. In addition, the visa office requires every one to complete the "Family Information Form" even for the minors (But on the system, minors are not required to do so). Can anyone tell you what should I put as my financial support? And should I just supply all my documents in Spanish? And what about the Family Information Form for minors? Thank you very much for everybody's help!

PS: I have read articles from others who had similar experience. That person just put US visa as financial support and provide all documents in Spanish. However, that article was published several years ago, so I was not able to fully trust on that article.

The online application often requires different documents than the paper application. As to language and specific form contents, I'm not sure. Hopefully someone with experience applying from Colombia can assist.

While the Bogota visa office accepts documents in Spanish, if you apply online, there's no assurance that your applications will be processed by the Bogota VO but by any visa office in the world. You would want to translate your documents into English by a certified translator.

Although proof of financial resources is not required for CAN+ processing, it is best to prove that you have the financial resources to visit and more importantly to return to Colombia.

In addition, the visa office requires every one to complete the "Family Information Form" even for the minors (But on the system, minors are not required to do so).
Follow the checklist by using the Come to Canada tool.

All income earned by you that can be verified and traced..... not borrowed from anyone
