I really hope so. No reason to outsource this..... We are more than capable at home soil :p
its will be so frustrating if they come back after months and asking for some additional documents or resent the PCC. !!

For those people's file has been stuck in Sydney, NS since a while now, Has anyone requested for gcms notes and read what's going on with their file?

i'm in a same boat! File received Feb 14th 2019; everything SA, BR, MR passed since April 1st but file still stuck at NS.
Have no clue what's going on!
Anyone have any theories or possible reasons to not get transfer?

They are telling this 'complete process in Canada' to many . Hope it is true .
I was told the same thing. I am a bit doubtful about it. I think the reason why many file transfer happened to Mississauga was because of workload at other VOs. For instance a first glance at NDVO 2018 thread indicates that some folks who had application in Aug 2018 were given DMs and PPRs. This apparently has been the case for other VOs as well. So it is most likely possible that this "Batch Mississauga transfer" was to reduce workload (and of course deal with straight forward cases (although i do not know what straight forward cases entail)). My point here is that, while it is possible that the process may happen in Canada, the chances of this happening is pretty low. But hey! we have waited for so long, i hope and pray all of us can be done with this process in the next couple of months.

Hi guys
Do you know what’s ‘pre-arrival services’?
It means the eligibility part of your application (i.e. your relationship) has been approved, and all that's left is to finish the background checks. For many people, the background check part only lasts a few weeks. Definitely a good sign!

So I submitted an enquiry, got a response shockingly. I basically was confirming there was no more need for documentation and making sure I hadn't missed an email for PPR. However, they said I'm getting a letter?

"We verified the information you provided and can confirm that a decision has been made on the application. You will find more information related to your enquiry in the letter that was mailed to you on April 3, 2019, at the following address:"

Then they list my address here in the US. Makes me nervous but they would have said something before making a negative decision so I just gotta calm myself, lol. Just never heard of PPR being mailed physically.

A quick question:
If the sponsor has visited the PA during the process should the sponsor inform cic about the visit? Or wait for them to inquire?

Also i’m wondering the files that haven’t yet transferred are just sitting in sydney i mean just like that?
If nothing is being done about them then why does gckey state background is processing and we are reviewing eligibility etc I mean if its just waiting in sydney for a transfer then whose processing the background or reviewing the eligibility?
Or is that info not to be counted on o_O
