I got an offer letter for Fall 2019 in UOttawa today for Master of Arts Communication. The offer letter didn't have the tuition fee. They just sent a link to their website https://www.uottawa.ca/university-fees/ which is hard to understand. Can someone explain their fee structure? Or do they send a separate email regarding the fees in full?

Thank you in advance.

That is the problem. Did you email them about it?

Have you accepted your offer? Did they send you any email about making a deposit or securing your seat? Sorry for the many questions!

Lol..
Don't worry. I understand.
The answer is: YES I've emailed them but no response since now / No, at Uottawa i don't think there is a deposit or securing seat procedure, they adviced me to pay the first semester and in case the visa is denied i'll have a 100% refund. But my only issue now is that i really don't understand their tuition fee page.

I messaged a Canada group I am in and this is what they said:

For first two terms it will be 7836 each , for third 7221 (this is the Fee for MA Communication). So for your program the amount on the “Total” side of the 2 terms or fewer will be the fee for 2 terms each. And the 3rd term will be the next number below. Hope this makes sense!

Ok... But generally the academic year in Canada is two semester made up of four months. So what they call term is usually referred as a semester in order words therefore it would be 2 terms a year not 3.

The university also told me that most of thé program have 2 terms per year because at the third term.. Students go on vacation and it make sense i think.
But they advice me to also consider the third term when making my budget for the year. Because some rare programs still have classes on that period.

So.. I think a fee for a semester as they adviced me to pay is around 7500CAD

Hi have you accepted your offer?
I did today and haven’t gotten an “official” email. My decision was also not emailed - rather it was on UZone. Do you know if I should expect any initial welcome email (if that’s a thing) from them or not:)
