Mine is the same. Applied just 4 days before you. I had even called cic to check on visa office. However they said it will only be assigned once the background Check kicks off

What is your BG check: We are processing or In Progress? Do they mean it has not started?

Hi All,

I could see that the "weeks remaining" timer which changes every Saturday for my PR application did not change recently on the previous Saturday. It seems to have stuck at 14 weeks. Has this happened with someone else as well?

you have to realize that all IP1 IP2 are nonsense stages that was created within the roams of internet. Stick to what we known out of the notes , it's very much broken down to five stages: R10 > Criminality > Eligibility > Security > PPR. Call or order notes to know where you stand within these stages.

Hi All,

Just got off the call with an IRCC agent after wait time of 31 minutes. My file is still inside Canada at a Case Processing Center. As per the agent Medicals is passed, Criminality is passed, Eligibility and Background check not started. Last Activity date happened on March 22nd, that was the date I received my GCMS Tracking number which I have ordered.

AOR- January- 14th
Meds Cleared- Feb 22
Bio Completed- March 4th

When I submitted my biometrics, and tracked its details on VFS site, it showed my biometrics has been sent to IRCC Bangalore. Does that mean, my visa office is Bangalore? Has anyone else tracked biometric details on VFS?

How do you know you're in IP2? Did you contact CIC, and was told you've passed eligibility?

Hi ishausa, upon calling the CIC, got to know that the background check is in progress, so, my assumption is that it might be IP2. I might be wrong here. But again, the agent did not seem to clearly understand the query(about the progress bar) and he replied that usually, the applications take 6 months and that my application was on time being open with an officer; he was quite friendly and polite though.

Nops .. ur visa office can only be learnt by calling IRCC or getting gcms notes .
Tracking bio details doesn’t lead u anywhere . Tracking id is valid for a month only.

Dear pls wait for 3 months completion. Then if ur profile is very precise and complete and u r lucky, u can expect it in 3-4 months..
Anyhow it will be done by 5/6 months.

And ur biometrics completion and attachment is required at indian vfs .. it’s not ur visa ofice

Inland applicant? most probably IP2. I mean very close to PPR ...
