Hello everyone..my AOR is 7th Nov'18. Medicals passed in somewhere before holidays in December and Background check status changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information " after some day. But after that no update yet. Is the background status means that I am in IP2. I read in some links that after IP2 it doesn't take much time for PPR. Not sure why so delay. Timeline is showing as 27 days remaining in profile but no update yet. Does anyone know that file getting rejected after so many days? Started getting worried now .. :(

Hello Guys, sad news for me. A refusal! For the most ridiculous reason.

The case officer checked the latest bank statement but did not check the attached Fixed Deposits. Below is the reason. Can someone help me? Appeal? Reapply? How much time will it take?

"In your Express Entry profile, as proof of funds, you submitted a notarized Gift Deed which indicated that Rs. 10,00,000 was transferred into your State Bank of India Account. I note that bank statements were not provided. On April 5, 2019, our office requested bank statements from the State Bank of India account. In response, you submitted the State Bank of India account statement, which shows the deposit and subsequent withdrawal/transfer of the Rs. 10,00,000 from your account. The ending balance on March 29, 2019, was Rs. 41,064.03, or rather, CAD $791.35"
What was your AOR?and were you in IP2 when this status changed?don’t worry you can definitely appeal with proper justification

Damn!! Sorry man :(

Why didn't you provide a bank statement earlier with your gift deed? Even I provided a notarized gift deed but I submitted my 6 month bank statement along with it too.

So you did not justify your withdrawal when you provided the new statement?
Yes, that's the only thing which we missed, a small line of justification of removal of balance. But one thing I dont understand is that we submitted the notarized gift deed and the FD receipts which submitting the application.

Yeah but after that almost 4 months has passed and no news from them. That is the most worrying part here. Could not connect to IRCC in call due to high volume from India. Tried several times to connect. Not sure what is going on with the application

Just a doubt after reading this. .....
Did we have to submit bank statement for 6 months ??????
Yes you have to submit a 6 month bank statement. That's how they calculate 6 months average balance.

I opened a new bank account specifically for Canada immigration. Submitted notarised gift deed, a letter from my bank on letter head mentioning no outstanding dues, credit cards, loans etc. Then I also submitted a 6 month bank statement. I haven'touched that account since. I actually showed $1000 more than what was required. It's always good to have more than the limit because you never know.

3rd November AOR, no IP2. How do we appeal? from the MyCIC or a different eamil?
Create a new CSE and provide them with the fixed deposit proofs and also justify about your withdrawal. Also mention clearly that you want to put a request for an appeal.

You need to provide them with concrete proofs about your proof of funds for them to reopen your case. If they're satisfied someone will respond to you about your chances of appealing.

It has happened before so don't worry. good luck!!

That gift deed became irrelevant since you withdrew the amount. Thats why you should have justified why you withdrew.

But my account is 13 years old and there is sufficient balance and that's mentioned on the letter head of bank.

Also, if I appeal what would the timeline for it be? Or to be exact, when will I be able to get to the phase in which I was before I got the rejection letter?

My apologies. I am not sure what a CSE means. could you please shed some light on it? Basically I am applying with the help of a well known agent in my city and he says that creating a new EE profile would be a better solution. He also said that he will write to the IRCC telling them about this issue and that they should reconsider our profile. (Most probably by this it means that he is appealing) Also, now that my application is rejected and if I give them the additional supporting documents like you mentioned, how likely is it that I get a positive response from their end?
