Hi, what you need to do in ensure you have Adobe Reader installed on your computer, otherwise you will not be able to open the forms. I have a Mac and couldn't figure out how to make it work, I suggest using a Windows computer. Once you have the checklist, right click on the links and save each document as a file to your computer. Then, open Adobe and open the files from there...this will allow you to type on the forms and validate them. Hope this helps!
Thank you so much hopefully I am able to do it tomorrow ..Also if you are sponsoring someone and was on social assistance how long to you need to be off of social assistance before applying for your spouse ??
What country is the PA from? I don't believe there is a certain time period that you have had to be off of social assistance as long as you can prove that you are no longer on any type of social assistance and can show that you have the financial stability to sponsor your spouse! Although there is no minimum income requirement they need to see a steady income that you'd be able to use to support your spouse.
PA? Am new to this and just want to do everything the right way ..I've called immigration Canada a million times to get help and haven't so am greatful for any help I get here

There is no minimum amount of time. If you have been on welfare recently when you apply, you will need to show a strong financial situation to prove that you will be able to support yourself and your spouse.
You should contact the relevant welfare authority in your province to make sure that you are off of their list before you apply. Sponsors have been refused before when the province still showed them as being in receipt of welfare.
