HI,

I applied for a tourist visitor visa of Canada for tourists purpose with my wife, I got valid US visa for 5 years last year in October. Still I got refused on these basis

I am refusing your application on the following grounds:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status.

I am not sure why they refused my visa as I have no family ties in Canada and I didn't mentioned any in my application, I do have a sister in law in America.
How can I appeal this decision?

While you can technically appeal, an appeal will be pointless as it will cost substantially more and take substantially longer than re-applying.

To understand better your application, please provide us with information on what documents you submitted along with your application to prove your purpose of visit, financial status, and ties to your country of residence.

What the letter you received essentially says is that the visa officer felt that you did not have enough ties to your country of residence to make you return after you visit Canada. They also felt that you do not have enough money to support a trip.

You cannot realistically appeal this decision.

You can however, file a new application.

Before applying again, you need to address the issues that led to the rejection of your first application. You need to convince them that you will

1. Leave Canada at the end of your trip
2. Have enough money to support yourselves during this visit.

I am retired person and planning on going on world tour with my wife, I have a son in Australia, daughter in Sweden and a son with us in Pakistan. All my other friends and family are in Pakistan and just a cousin's Son in Canada (whose address we gave in application). I shared following documents:

1. Passport copy
2. Visa Application
3. Family Information
4. Marriage Certificate
5. Bank Statements (from 2 different banks)
6. Family Information
7. Digital Photo
8. Purpose of Travel

I have approximately 6 million PKR or 56,500 Canadian Dollar, I thought it would be enough money to support our trip to Canada

The money is not the issue - 56k CAD is enough for a reasonable trip.

It's your lack of strong ties to Pakistan. From what you've written, it doesn't appear that you have a strong reason to return. Do you have property in Pakistan? Think of reasons that will prove that you will return to Pakistan after your trip.

You said you want to go on a world tour. Have you ever traveled before (Sweden? Australia? the USA?).

Yes I do have property in Pakistan, I have a house in Pakistan where we live and a flat which I have rented out, but I didn't mention it in my application.

I have traveled to Turkey, China and Saudia Arabia (2 times) while my wife have traveled to Sweden (2 times), Saudia Arabia (2 times) and Turkey in the last 10 years. We have got 5 years US visa in October 2018.

You should mention the property. The travels to Turkey, China, and SA don't really count. Sweden does, but you didn't go together.

If you're really keen on coming to Canada, make sure to mention the property you own in Pakistan. Otherwise, just visit the US and come to Canada the next time.

there is no purpose of visit plus travel history is low funds prove is useless until you can't prove from where it came what are your ties in back home plus you applied from USA so it already weaken your case..as you are visitor there USA visa and CA visa way much difference in both

I think u didn't read the whole thread. I have US 5 year visa but i am still in Pakistan and i applied from here. In proof of means of financial support i was allowed to send one pdf document how can I send prove where this balance came from, its not an audit, i think bank statement with 56,000 canadian dollar is enough.

And i am not lying there is purpose of visit and travel history, i have screenshot of the documents required but i am not able to send here

Sadly what you think doesn't matter one bit. What the visa officer thinks matters a lot.

Liquid cash in a bank account is good proof that you can pay for your trip, but it isn't necessarily proof of ties in Pakistan. There are, sadly, lots of refugee and asylum applications from Pakistan. Even if you are wealthy, the visa officer will be looking for things that on balance of probability indicate you have a reason to return to Pakistan. $56k CAD is evidence that if you were to stay in Canada, you could eke out a living for a while (it's actually the average Canadian income for a year...)
