Just wondering is this the email below
to request notes on your file? if so what do you send.. an email to this address with your application number asking for an update/status on your file

we are from Barbados and our file went to Mexico as well

You have to fill out a form and it must be signed then submitted online. Its not sent to an email

We got the same thing. For me and my husband. Neither of us ever married. We emailed a letter of explanation and it was accepted

That’s exactly what I just did. Sent a letter of explanation along with the fact that they can easily check the records at the local junta with his cedula . So ridiculous , but we do we have to do to keep the process moving. Thanks for your response , it’s good to know that others have experienced the same situation and it all turned out well.

Its quite a common request. Basically everyone with kids get the request

Really ? How strange . It’s 2019 not 1945 hahah.
But I suppose they are just doing due diligence . I sent it off along with the scheduleA, what surprised me was the police certificate wasn’t requested, I’m pretty sure ours has expired .

What In particular is the reason for having to resubmit this document? Is it just for any updates on work/education status since last one was sent?

I suppose they just want any updated changes. In our case nothing changed .

I see that they requested a divorce certificate from while you were not married prior. Have you noticed if they will re-request this if one was sent, or a marriage cert for a previously married PA?

Generally they extend the validity so it makes it easier!!! You enjoy your weekend!!!!

The divorce certificates were requested for my husband as he has children (not with me) prior to our relationship. As another poster stated it is generally asked if you have children but not with your current spouse. Our marriage certificate was sent with the original application and no they have not re requested . In my opinion I believe they just wanted clarification , which we gave them

Link it! Regarding a passport ... They'll need it anyway so why wait? Avoid future delays. Use the webform and definitely update it.

When they ask for something changes are they'll set a future date as to when to re-open the file again, so to avoid that wait period have passports and police checks totally up to date. We submitted our police check again in March without prompting, so it will be good for another 3 months.
