Hi again, do you know if medimigration needs a full GP report, even if there's no significant health issues? The GP says such a report would take a month, but the medical has to be done within a month so I dunno... thanks m8

I didn't have to provide anything, their website states:

• Copies of up-to-date hospital reports/letters concerning any significant health issues from the previous 5 years, if relevant.

So in your case, I'd say you're fine if you've not got any significant health issues.

No problem, there's a hospital car park right next to the medical centre, pretty cheap and easy to get where you're going. There's also a McDonalds around the corner in case you get there early and fancy some breakfast

I have received the request for medical and I tried to book the appointment with doctor but they are saying my IME# is not active.
They are saying it will take 10 day to get active.
Any suggestions.

My wife called to book the med appointment a few hours after receiving the letter. They didn't say anything about inactive IME#. I think maybe try calling again tomorrow.

App received on Februari 20th, rejected/returned on April 4!

We don't really know where to go from here. It feels not useful being part of a februari group anymore, because we don't need info or help with BIO/SA/MEDICAL/etc..

Are there topics/groups on whatsapp for people who got rejected?

I have a ton of questions (and worries)..

.. If re-applying it specifies that we must use all updated forms and files since February 14th. This means new barcode pages, new signatures and new procedures (police certificate no longer required, but now via a form) etc..

I did most of the paperwork in QC and me and my spouse finalized and sent it together, now I am no longer there, should we mail the new forms via courier to eachother for signatures?

I can't think straight..

Really sorry to hear about rejection, nevertheless all stuff you've wrote me in a PM...
Don't give up. Fill in new forms and send application again!
There are threads on forum about rejection, but usually they are more case specific, than general one.
Did they explained what was the reason?

I'm sorry to hear this as well. I can only imagine how frustrated you are to have gone through gathering all this information so far only to have it returned.

The previous poster mentioned threads for rejections and I don't know of any additional information to add to that.
I will say though that it can be done when you are not together, my husband and I had to do most of the process like that. We started it together and he took all the documents home with him to the UK as he'd have to add his police certificates etc. to it. We then spent many hours over skype finishing the process. I printed the rest of the forms, all of our photos, and a few other things, then I signed everything I needed to. I then sent it all via courier to him and he added his signature to forms. We then spent several more skype calls putting our application together and checking and double checking we had everything. It took us about a month, but yes it can be done when you're not together.

If they have sent information about why it was rejected I would start by going through that very carefully to see what was missed. And then we made sure to go through the checklist multiple times to ensure everything was signed and each form was filled out completely.

Keep your chin up! You can do this. And just keep remembering it will all be worth it in the end.

Now she has to fly all the way to Romania and get it in person, as other options take much longer than 2 months. Big oof. This police check wasn't ask for in the application or country specific documents.. . Wonder why it wasn't part of the application to begin with.

Got an email saying they sent my spousal application of Mississauga for processing. Is this AOR2? My wife is taking her Medical and Biometrics on 16th and 17th of April.

Police clearance is part of the checklist... we provided 2 ones. One from muncipal(Policia) and Justice court(Minister of justice) from local there, didnt take chances.

I live in Canada my husband is in Jamaica I sent app Feb 19,2019 received on the 22nd. Aor on March 28th. I wonder what they will be emailing next and and how long.

I'm in the same boat, still got no SA/BR/MR but AOR1 on Mar 28th. Patiently waiting and refreshing my mailbox.

Police clearance is part of the checklist... we provided 2 ones. One from muncipal(Policia) and Justice court(Minister of justice) from local there, didnt take chances.

Oh I included the one from the checklist. They're asking for an additional police check from her birth country, which was NOT on the checklist or country specific documents.
