Perfect.. don’t worry.. good news soon.. but prepare your mind to be in 20% ones..

Hello everyone, I was reading about the Canada immigration process. I have understood the process till getting ITA. But it seems there is so much after that and i am confused with the terminology as well as the process. What are the likely steps after some one receives an ITA. i see lot of abbreviations AOR MEP IP1 and IP2. Can anyone explain or direct me to any thread which has all this information?

This would help I guess.

good news soon and be prepared for being 20% in the same statement is quite contradicting :p
Haha.. preparing your mind will help you to stay calm and keep your anxiety levels low.. even those 20% also gets PPR some day.. ;)

Also as per my last conversation with CIC agents..

Agent 1 : i should call them only if I haven’t received any updates till 12 june.. ( made me too much worried)

Agent 2 : I should call them after 24th April if no updates till that date..

Now tell me whom should i trust.. All i meant to say is that info available with agents is not always correct or updated one.. so don’t rely much on them..

oh that anxiety wouldn't go anywhere unless ppr comes :-(

Then .. none of my words can help you dear.. All the best .. :).. hope you get PPR soon.. enough..

A silent onlooker here.

Had a chat with an agent a few weeks ago. He very specifically emphasized that there is nothing necessarily wrong if your application is past 180 days mark.

He also said that it was not uncommon for a relatively "simpler" application to be buried under the pile, and that delay in finalizing it did not mean more scrutiny was underway.

My application was received on October 3, and I passed the medicals on November 1. There have been no updates since.

Haven’t you raised any CSE yet ? If not then I think you should.. what’s your NOC..

Thank you for sharing the links, that was really helpful. Now, got the clarity.

One small question, if one has a good CRS score well above the recent draw( my estimates says i can score 462). Is it confirmed CRS of that level will get PR or its dependent on NOC.

I was checking the following spreadsheet no one in my NOC has gotten PR but already received ITA.

I do not feel the need to. It'll probably come back telling me almost exactly what I got from the agent.

NOC 5123, Eligibility is "Met" (which, as I read somewhere else, is equivalent to "Recommended Pass").

Ok.. yes it is equivalent to recommended pass..

Don’t know why eligibility met candidates have to wait for such a long time.. as its a main hurdle and time consuming process..

Let’s hope for the best and wish you get PPR soon..
