country IndiaHi Everyone
I just submitted my application for spouse and dependant child
application was couriered on march 25th and the courier was delivered on wednesday 27th March
How long does it take for them to acknowledge that they have received the application
Check out the spreadsheet on the first page of this thread, it'll give you an idea of the waiting times for people who've applied this year! At the moment it looks like it's taking around 35-40 days. So I would say you could expect to get your AOR some time in early May. Good luck!Hi Everyone

hi @alaria my app was received Mar 28. I'm just looking over all the forms again (because I'm bored) I realized I put the wrong email address for PA (I am the sponsor) although I will try to link the application around May, you had mentioned that all communication is through email. How can I update IRCC with the correct email address. Or will the SP also get email notifications?Cross posting: for those who can't link an application and asks for step by step instruction, I've created this post https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-link-an-application-to-cic-account-step-by-step-instruction.619724/

You must inform IRCC about this as soon as you can. A sponsor will get only notification related to sponsor. All communication with PA will go through PA's email, and in your case it's not correct. It's crucial for you to notify them now, or you risk to miss their requests.hi @alaria my app was received Mar 28. I'm guessing I do this via webform or call? You must inform IRCC about this as soon as you can. A sponsor will get only notification related to sponsor. PA should do it via web form. If you're a sponsor, you can also use the web form, but when filling out the fields, use PA's info only, or they will reject your request (unless you're a representative of your PA).I'm guessing I do this via webform or call?
yes I am his representative. I sent the web form *fingers crossed they update accordingly*PA should do it via web form. Thank you for that post. I am going to read this. We just sent our application today and I was wondering about what to do next about linking the application which I believe I can do once I got AOR. So, thanks for linking this and I am off reading about what to do.Cross posting: for those who can't link an application and asks for step by step instruction, I've created this post https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/how-to-link-an-application-to-cic-account-step-by-step-instruction.619724/
