IQAS ECA timeline tracking

My university transcripts were delivered on 10 January and I am still waiting for AOR. Is there anybody here who is also waiting for AOR for January month?

yes, my university transcripts were delivered on 15th January and waiting for further action from IQAS.

Have patience and do nothing. You will receive ECA in the end of May.

Thanks ... I will try ... Just wanted to avoid a scenario where they come back after few months to say they need more documents.

Also do you think it's normal for the status to get updated from in line for processing to final review in 6 days?

Hi All
Need help in understanding the chain of events for my ECA ...
Application Submitted - 16 Dec
Documents Delivered - 20 Dec
AOR 1 - 22 March

Here is where it gets confusing ... I had sent documents for me and my wife in the same envelope .... While her status moved to "In Line For Processing" on 22nd March itself, I was kept stuck at "Received".

I followed up with IQAS regarding the same and they told me they are currently reviewing documents delivered on 10th Dec and to wait for sometime.

When I checked today although there is no change on my application ... My wife's application moved to "Final Review" in 6 days as on 28th March.

Considering she has more degrees to be assessed this is strange. I do have a PGDBM from IMT CDL being assessed ... Not sure if that is what's causing the delay.

What should I do in this situation?

HI Varun,
Your wife and I have very similar timelines. My documents were delivered on December 18, received AOR 1 on March 19. Aor 2 on 23rd March. Status changed to in line for processing on 23rd of March. And in 6 days, on 29th of March it changed to final review.

Anything is possible. Its been observed that the IQAS team is changing status to final review as early as they can to prevent refund request. timeline in final review was 6-10 days. Now its has exceeded to 40-50 days...

Hi Guys,

I have submitted the application for my wife on 7 Jan, 2019. All her documents were delivered by 3 March, 2019. It's about to be 3 months the status still shows as "Submitted".

Can any one give me an idea by when should I expect the status to change.

Your docs delivered on 3 March. So you should start counting from March 3 and not from the day you made the payment. You will receive AoR in the month of June. It is taking 90-100 days for AoR. Further it will take 40-50 days for you to receive ECA.

So you can expect your process to complete in July-Aug.

Hello everyone! Received hard copy of ECA report, my timeline is as follows:

Application Form Delivery: September 28, 2018
Academic Documents Delivery: October 3, 2018
AOR 1: November 6, 2018
AOR 2: November 8, 2018
Status changed from "In line for processing" to "Assessing" on February 6, 2019
Status changed to "Final Review" on March 8, 2019
Status changed to "Mailed" and received email intimation on March 28, 2019
Hard copy of ECA received on April 1, 2019

So it took 6 months from documents delivery to ECA receiving.

I did BS (4 years) and MS (2 years) degrees in Computer Science. Got the following equivalency:

- The Bachelor's degree generally compares to the completion of a four-year Bachelor of Science degree with a focus in computer science.
- The Master's degree generally compares to the completion of a Master of Science degree with a focus in computer science
