Spousal sponsorship financial evaluation (IMM 1283)

Hi forum members,

I am a permanent resident and in the process of sponsoring my wife who is a French citizen. We have a son who is a Canadian citizen. I am confused about the IMM 1283 form, do I need to send this with the spousal sponsorship application?
If anyone has had a similar experience and can comment would be great!

As stated in the guide, IMM1283 is when sponsoring a dependent child who has a dependent child.
