Hello yulia...you got any idea how long it takes for ppr after medical passed...its 2 weeks since my parents passed medical and status is still in process...i was looking at h.patel timeline..he got decision made exactly after 2 weeks if medical passed ...also I already send pcc and RPRF with my application in august 2018...do you think the application transfer to missisauga from Ottawa after medical makes difference...pls give your views

Need your help to understand below points,

1. My parent got medical test request and they did it at the IRCC designated hospital and doctor. But I am not sure if the e-medical receipt which was provided by doctor that need to be sent to IRCC, or the doctor will upload and that is enough??

2. I would like to know if my parent can start their police clearance certificate from local authority [India] in advance or they need to wait for the request letter from IRCC for the same. The PCC takes bit of time especially during election times, so would like to know if anyone done it in advance??

I have same situation actually IRCC ask my parents medical only no PCC request so after medicals done my parents went and applied for PCC its been one week iam waiting the PCC certificate, my parents also from India, usually PCC valid for one year

1) Doctor will upload the file for you. You do not need to do anything. Keep the receipt for your own record.
2) You can start acquiring PCC now and send it to your VO via IRCC webform. That will jump start the process a bit.

You can acquire PCC without waiting for request from IRCC. Send your PCC to your VO via IRCC webform.

Anyone else's file is at Singapore VO from second round. Ottawa LVO normally changes to 'In Process' right away and asks to go for Medical within a week or 2. But for Singapore, it's still showing 'App Received' and no other update.

It took about 2 and a half months for me to get IME and PCC requests from SG VO. Don't compare it to OTT VO. They are much faster.

But, if you think that SG VO is slow, have a look at London VO. People from first round are still waiting for IME and PCC. So, there are people in worse situation than you are.

Yes we are on the same page. I received SA email on February 7. How come it’s taking so long on your case? Maybe due to technical problems on MVO’s side?

I did not receive letter after the decision made and the agent told me that according to my file they sent a letter which I didn’t receive. They said they will send a new one and hoping to receive it this time and if not received until April 25 I have to contact them again.

hello...i did not paid attention before but now i noticed my cease for applicant...has got and extra line 4 saying we send medical instructions on feb 18 ..line 3 is we sent you correspondence on feb 18...while line 5 is medical results have been received....i don't know why line 4 is added after...my cic account says medical have passed...and we are processing your background check...any views
